Founded in 1976, Lezounery Toun is a unique language school with a solid reputation for top results, regardless of students’ age or initial language competence. We provide fluency in speech, listening comprehension, and authentic speech, as well as reading comprehension of unabridged texts at an academic level.

We were established in 1976 as an experimental laboratory at the Russian Language Department of the Armenian Teachers’ Training University named after Kh. Abovyan, and taught a multitude of languages. The name itself underwent a lot of transformation, going from Armenian Republic Laboratory of Intensive Methods (ARLIM) to a much simpler “Lezounery Toun” Ltd. (“Domus Linguae” – House of Languages) in 1995 after separation from the University.
The founders of the Lezounery Toun Center knew they had to do more than just teach a language—they had to build a new way of learning it. We asked ourselves: What does it truly mean for an educated person to know a language? And how can students break free from memorized phrases and start expressing their real thoughts, naturally and confidently?
We didn’t want students to get stuck or lose momentum. So, we developed an intensive course that’s both effective and refreshingly different. The result? A unique method that actually works.
Students begin to speak fluently, without mentally translating, reaching a level close to that of a native speaker. In a surprisingly short time, they develop an instinctive, effortless grasp of the language.
